Can you fail a drug test using CBD Oil? Possibly.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the cannabinoid that companies test for. This cannabinoid is found in marijuana and in hemp and can cause the euphoria that some people enjoy. However, to be federally compliant for a legal hemp product, the THC levels must be below 0.3%, which, will NOT produce a high effect at all. However, over time, it may cause a consumer to fail a drug test. THC can build up in your system, because your body uses it. This build up will not result in a high effect, but for testing purposes it can cause a fail.
If you are concerned with failing a drug test, 502 Hemp recommends taking a THC Free product or a broad spectrum CBD oil. The THC levels in these products are not detected in lab tests. We also recommend talking to your HR department and advise them that you would like to take a legal product and ask if THC is being tested for. 502 Hemp can provide the testing documents to prove our products are all federally compliant if needed. We also list all of our Certificate of Analysis on our resource page. Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns. 502 Hemp is here for our customers.
