DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH BEFORE PURCHASING FROM THIS OR ANY STORE SELLING THESE TYPES OF PRODUCTS.The atmosphere was organized and super relaxed, and the attendant appeared to be knowledgeable on all products. She was very vocal on how much the people who run the store personally test their own products and research thoroughly before the products go on the shelf. However, I paid $45 for a GOJI OG, 2 gram disposable, only to come home and find the exact same product online for $16 (on the first search so it wasn't hard to find at a reasonable price). Such a huge kick to the gut. I get you have to make profit to run a business, and most places mark up and customers pay for the convenience, but that is robbery to charge 3x the price anyone could buy it for online. (Please do not waste your time giving me a spill about legalities of shipping batteries and such--I heard all that in store when I mentioned that I normally buy online due to this very same thing happening with price markups.) I came here to say what many other people who shop at your store don't say because they are simply unaware. Because you are on a wealthier end of Louisville, and it is less likely to have your prices questioned in the area...a lot of your customers don't even realize they're getting majorly ripped off! Maybe they don't care, and that's their business... For those that DO care, beware.
Response from the owner: Our apologies that you feel we are taking advantage of you price wise. However, $16 is more than what we even pay for the product directly from the manufacturer. It has nothing to do with being on the east end of town. We do not try to take advantage of people’s ignorance. The PACT act doesn’t allow us to ship and if you can order them online from someone else, they could very well be breaking the federal law. We charge what we need to to stay in business and stay competitive. I do not even see these vapes on the manufacturers website to dispute or send you the direct link to their price, but that is not what they sell them for that we know of. If you found someone else selling them, they could be getting substantial discounts to sell them or they are getting ready to expire, ect. We are only over about $5 to help recover the cost that we pay for shipping and license fees and extra taxes that the Dept of Revenue charges on every single vape. We actually have to pay money to even be legally allowed to sell vapes. We do not make a ton of money on vapes and only sell one or two brands for a reason. We aren’t a vape store and we don’t buy enough from our supplier to get huge discounts. It isn’t easy being a small business and we have to charge what we charge to stay in business. Plus HB11 is completely trying to make all vapes illegal, so we are part of a lawsuit to stop that so consumers can still purchase vapes at stores. We take faulty vapes back and would be happy to return your money to you and we will eat the cost. Then you could buy them on line from the cheaper option since the price is the issue. Again, our apologies you weren’t completely satisfied. We also honor competitor pricing, but we simply cannot afford to sell products at cost or at a loss due to how much we pay just to be able to sell them and actually be in business.
