The Story Behind 502 Hemp
Dee Dee Taylor, the founder of 502 Hemp, began her journey in Middletown, Ohio. After a successful career as a paralegal and office manager, Dee Dee moved to Middletown, Kentucky, to be with her husband, John. When pharmaceutical treatments failed to control John’s Grand Mal seizures, Dee Dee encouraged him to explore CBD oil as a natural alternative.
John’s dedication to learning about hemp and CBD oils led to life-changing results — his seizures stopped for five years, and over the last 13 years, he has only experienced eight seizures. Inspired by this success, Dee Dee shifted her career focus to the hemp industry full-time.
Building 502 Hemp
Dee Dee launched 502 Hemp Wellness Center in Louisville, KY, offering safe, reliable, and high-quality hemp products. She later expanded with 812 Hemp in Clarksville, IN, bringing her expertise and products to the Southern Indiana community.
Recently, 502 Hemp opened a new location at Logan Street Market: 1001 Logan Street, Booth 112, making it even easier for local customers to explore our products and meet the team.
Her dedication goes beyond business, Dee Dee actively advocates for medical cannabis and hemp legislation, serving on multiple boards and advisory committees, including the Kentucky Hemp Association and Governor Beshear’s Medical Cannabis Advisory Committee.
