Laura
Laura Lambaren was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She went to Elon college where she got a teaching degree and was a preschool teacher for 25 years prior to coming to work for 502 Hemp. She has 3 children who were raised here in Louisville. She loves to foster dogs and spends her free time crocheting. She loves working at 502 Hemp because she gets to help people feel better.
Wilson
Wilson is a Louisville native who recently moved back from Tampa, Florida where he worked on a commercial cannabis farm. As a cultivator and medical cannabis patient himself, he learned the many different ways that cannabis can provide relief in our lives. He is currently pursuing a degree at Beal University for Medicinal Plant Sciences, where he hopes to use his knowledge and experience in the industry to continue helping others learn about the benefits that cannabis products have to offer. Aside from being a student, Wilson spends his free time outdoors with his two dogs, Yogi and Clifford.
Kristen
Originally from southern Illinois, Kristen moved to Louisville three years ago and joined 502 Hemp after meeting Dee Dee through the Chamber of St. Matthews. She started at events and the Middletown store and now leads the Logan Street Market location. Kristen is passionate about hemp and how it’s helped her entire family, including her grand-pup, Piper! She’s currently earning her Medical Cannabis Certificate through the University of Colorado Boulder. A true plant lover, she’s also an avid gardener who believes in the healing power of nature. She holds a business degree but has spent most of her career in the nonprofit world. Her full-time role supports new teachers relocating to Louisville, a city she loves helping others call home. Kristen believes when you find your people, you find yourself and she’s all about helping others feel that connection. Kristen is mom to Ashlynn, a chef (hopefully in Louisville soon!), and Ainsley, an 8th grade video game champ. Her favorite person, though? Her cat, Margo, she’s only kind of kidding.
Rocko
Rocko is our Marketing Director. People of Kentuckiana might know him best as a prior writer and representative of the Voice-Tribune, Tops Louisville Magazine (which is how he met Dee Dee), or Today’s Woman. These days, he’s happy to be a part of the 502 Hemp mission. “I’ve never lost the sense of adventure that cannabis presents to me,” he says. “From my earliest experiences with it, it has always been about augmenting an experience. That could be seeing a movie or listening to music, or even just the most pedestrian things, can become remarkable with that little change in perspective. I think cannabis is such a vibrant part of the human experience. I’m happy to be an advocate and an ambassador.”
Lyndsey
Lyndsey’s journey into the cannabis industry began as a customer seeking relief from TMJ-related pain. Through the education and guidance she received from 502 Hemp, she gained a deeper understanding of cannabis and its potential benefits. Today, she’s proud to be part of the team, helping others learn about cannabis and find products that fit their needs. Lyndsey is passionate about helping people discover the benefits of cannabis and creating positive experiences through education, quality products, and exceptional service.
Melanie
Melanie is a Kentucky native, having grown up in Oldham County and now a 20-year resident of Bullitt County. She is a wife and a mother of two amazing daughters and a few fur babies as well. Her cannabis journey started in 2017 by trying CBD oil as a natural alternative to pharmaceuticals for epilepsy. A two-time cancer survivor, cannabis has also helped her get through the challenges of cancer treatment and the physical and mental aftermath of cancer related trauma. Melanie has always been a proponent of holistic wellness and a true believer in the magic of Mother Nature’s gifts. It was a natural fit when she joined the 502 Hemp team in 2025, having been a loyal customer for almost a decade. She loves helping customers find comfort through cannabis on their own wellness journeys.
