The THC + CBG Connection

Our newest gummies, Mango Mojo and Tropical Bliss, get their special touch from three little letters: CBG.

Often referred to dramatically as the “mother of all cannabinoids,” CBG, or cannabigerol, is an important part of the development of both THC and CBD. If you’re reading this, you are most likely very familiar with those two pillars of cannabis and what they have to offer. CBG is a very naturally occurring, non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in hemp.  It does a lot for our endocannabinoid system. Deep breath for this next part: CBG has shown potential as an anti-inflammatory, for pain management, to support mood and reduce stress, to help digestive health by reducing intestinal inflammation, and even neuroprotective potential.

However, the most amazing magic occurs when you add CBG to your THC. They work together to improve each other. Pain management potential is very high if your body works well with the combination. But perhaps even more notably, it gives a bit of stress relief for people who encounter anxiety from THC use.

Interestingly enough, all this information about CBG comes as a result of fairly recent scientific study, the kind that is only possible on its scale as a result of the last several years of hemp product legality. It gives the sense that we truly might only just be learning about what this plant can truly do for humankind. Hopefully this industry isn’t about to crash into a national ban.

Help keep hemp legal!
Mango Mojo and Tropical Zen combine 20 milligrams of D9 THC with 30 mg of CBG per gummy. They are both available as of this posting.
